Tried to experiment a bit with shaders lately (still very basic #glsl programming with vertex and fragment shaders through #Processing), controlling the parameters from Pd. Sound (like visuals) is generated based on simplex3d noise and 2 sound sources are combined with a zero crossing granulator I built a few weeks ago (and will share here soon, too, for anyone to play around with).

Maryam Mirzakhani (1977-2017)

 Mirzakhani was from Iran and did her graduate studies in the US. She was a full professor at Stanford University until her untimely death from breast cancer, having previously been at Princeton University. Mirzakhani was awarded the Fields Medal (2014) for her work on hyperbolic and symplectic geometry. This made her both the first woman and the first Iranian to win this prestigious award. She was made a member of the National Academy of Sciences (2016), and that body now awards the Maryam Mirzakhani Prize in Mathematics in her honor. Mirzakhani's birthday, May 12th, is Known as a day for celebrating women in mathematics

The blow on the table, unexpected

For me this track was unexpected and never forgotten

Year 2014. Nühn enter by streaming directly into the chill wave europe scene via the Bad Panda Records. Italian label managed by Claudio Gallo. The beginning of the interestelar series by Nühn. Extended stories across the universe. This track brought the start of the marvelous 'Andromeda' album history. In the first cover version of the song we could see seven points inside the artwork representing seven stars. These stars was galaxies. Then the song 'Seventeen Kingdoms' taken from Andromeda LP gives sense to this cover. Let your ears come back to the most higher view point from Nühn. Andromeda and the most longest studio album

 This album is the most hardest work in production I did, highly proud of him

The most restless followers from Radiohead, also those from "The King Of Limbs", are as lucky themselves with the wellcoming album from Nühn called 'Andromeda' (brave coast 2018). An album at breaks starring, but the viral aurea as well, these increase sounds transport us to the space-time. A quite personal album, risky & delirious, with gorgeous sensitive mind that straight front the industrial beats. This job starts with loads of mistery and gets to the 3º track 'Message To The Earth', here's the music takes us to organic lands few explored, more than a sound band. The album is an authentic wild music, unpre- dictable, with songs that dead, that born, that revive, an amazing art-work written in a bit sounds. At the middle the work becomes into something more as line with 'Night Of The Warriors' & 'The Eternal Battle', these could be the most dancing tracks and the most popular as well, but, its as fact a conceptual work. This electronic music and experimental textures could be interpreted by 70's rock alternative bands, psychedelic as 'Seeing You From The High'. Julio Gutiérrez knows very well how to play creating atmospheres with huge sensitive like the voice into 'A Better World' extraordinary job. And now at the end of the album we can't to imagine how it was created, but for sure not in a normal mood, maybe to entrance the darkest night without sleep some days? We can't know it... But we are very secure that this album its at the level of all the important bands/artists internationally-

The Thriller

This was an album with funny description on the past on a small label from Barcelona, one of my fav's joking stories with Spanish people

Thriller_ 

Longest composition about 5 extended songs/tracks performing a whole thriller defining's life and death, light and darkness. The most perfectioned work of Nühn, creating sonoring spaces as soundtracks of techno music, dancing in a blend between experimental sounds and emerging dance music. Punk landscapes launching the guitars to the extreme, the rhythm to the chaos and the composition chords to the biggest supernatural emotional darkness. Also refered as ending and early 70s/80s music years, honestly and radical, with actual vision_ 

Some Bio from Nühn_ 
Nühn emerges from the deep nocturn years between 2012 and 2018. 
Were 5 years producing and composing during those nights, releasing his music in big and small labels around the world. The nights of Barcelona and that only people could enjoyed his sound. Shows in theatres, clubs and festivals in Catalonia. Today still stay some of that dust in the night of Barcelona, those who met Nühn today remember yet that mysterious man with that mysterious sound.

Olmecs on Nühn Records

 This is my fav band of all time my label Nühn Records edited them_ Description and information of these guys-

OLMECS was formed in San Diego CA 2020 when Todd Price purchased a Tascam 8 track recorder and started sharing music files with his friend Eric Oliver. The pandemic necessitated working under these circumstances. Todd and Eric are long time musicians who’ve played in numerous other bands live and generated multiple other recordings. Some of their previous groups include: Todd (Guff, Batwings, Altaira, Russian Tremors, Extinct Animals, Erectorset, etc..) Eric (FKenal, Cabuloan, Extinct Animals,etc) 

Conceptually, the band considers ourselves as conduits of messages of global awareness and interconnectivity. The natural state and travel are celebrated and ideas of sustainable practice in global 
appreciation is nurtured. 
Musically, we combine traditional rock instruments like guitar, bass and drums, utilizing multiple effects pedals, to create an intertwining harmonic dissonance to both salve and disrupt brainwaves aurally. 

OLMECS first full length, “Scattered Light of the Ancients” will be released on 12” vinyl in March 2022 and includes 10 songs. Additionally, Nühn Records from Barcelona Spain is releasing a 5 song EP called “High Psi” in early 2022 as well. 

Extended band bio: 
Todd Price is originally from GA and moved to San Diego CA from Athens GA in 2003. He has been in numerous punk rock bands including bass for Guff (Gokart Records NYC) and Altaira (ADD records/Snuffy Smile records Tampa FL/Tokyo). As a guitarist, he has played in many bands including Erectorset (Columbia MO/Tempe AZ), Batwings (San Diego), Extinct Animals (San Diego) and a few more. His touring has included 46 states, Canada, Mexico and Japanese tours. As a booking agent and music director at the renowned KCOU in Columbia MO he learned and honed his skills to put together underground musical acts for shows and to promote on his radio show. He booked many acts including: Archers of Loaf, At the Drive In, Ed Hall,Melt Banana, Smile, The Dickies, Alice Donut and many many more. He currently still resides in San Diego CA and plays southern CA until the pandemic dies down. 

Eric Oliver is a San Diego native and plays drums/bass and guitar. He has been in bands with Hector from the Zeros, Extinct Animals, Cabuloan, FKenal and multiple other acts. His main instrument is drums and he plays both a traditional kit as well as an electronic drum kit.
